Because Lin-Manuel Miranda is a musical genius, of course. This creativity led to Hamilton being awarded a Grammy, a Pulitzer Prize and 11 Tony Awards! When the broadway musical originaly debuted in 2015, it was immediately showered with endless fame.

Hamilton notably aims to cast non-white actors to portray all of its notably white historical figures. The existing ensamble of Hamilton performers is FILLED with talent, including Marcus John taking on the title role of Alexander Hamilton, with Christopher Jackson returning as George Washington from September 2026 through January 2027, not to mention Trey Curtis, Tamar Greene, Stephanie Jae Park and many more!
